Global urbanization and infrastructure restructuring: From population migration to long-term development challenges
Based on the analysis material from Eurasia Review, this article re-examines the urbanization process from a global infrastructure perspective. It focuses on the pressures exerted by demographic changes on urban systems, a comprehensive planning framework for future urban infrastructure, and the long-term trend that the African continent will become the core region for global infrastructure investment in the latter half of the next half-century, while also proposing strategic considerations at the levels of financing, governance, and engineering delivery.
